Richard made his move to Stafford Rangers a permanent one during summer 2007 having spent the whole of last season on loan from Crewe Alexandra. He has developed into strong defender while playing in Crewe’s Under-18 and Reserve teams. In 2005/06, as well as helping Stafford clinch promotion during an initial loan spell, Richard had another spell on loan at Leek Town.
