TUESDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2007 AT THE LAMB

A much-change Stafford Rangers side, with four of the fourteen players involved making their debut, twice took the lead in a bad-tempered tie at The Lamb and went down to an 80th minute winner. (match report)

7/10/07 Cambridge kick-off time - our view

Stafford Rangers would like to point out that we did everything we could to persuade Cambridge United to alter the kick-off time of next Saturday's Blue Square Premier game. We gave Cambridge the option to change the kick-off time but they wanted to stick to the original schedule. It was not our preference to kick-off at 3 pm. Stafford Rangers have altered the kick-off time on many occasions to avoid clashing with England games. The exception being the home fixture with Vauxhall Motors a few years ago when opposition player availablity meant an earlier start could not be accomodated.

6/10/07 The players know they deserved something

Phil Robinson felt Rangers deserved something from Saturday's 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Forest Green Rovers (more)

6/10/07 Seb Hamilton joins Boro

The visitors' took the points with late goals scored by Fleetwood (84) and Mark Beesley (89).  Man-of the-match Djoumin Sangare was sent off in injury time for two bookable offences (match report)
