Championship side Watford for Cedric Avinel. The 21-year-old central defender, born in
Paris, joined the Hornets during the January 2007 transfer window from Creteil and has

Stafford Rangers Youth have successfully negotiated Thursday
night's FA Youth Cup tie with a 4-1 victory over Stratford Town at Coventry Sphinx FC.
Joey Owen (24, 68) score a goal each half with Anthony Roman (27) and Tom McCrystal (50)
also fidning the net. Stafford now face Stone Dominoes in the next round at Marston Road,
probably on Thursday 27th September.

season
Defender Nathan Talbott is set to miss the entire season
through injury. He wil have a major operation on his hip which will require a nine-month
rehabilitation. Manager Phil Robinson said: "This is a massive blow for Nathan as he
has been an outstanding player since he joined us in 2004." We wish Nathan all the
best over the coming months.
Jemiah Richards will be out for several weeks with an ankle injury.
