Midland Alliance newcomers Stapenhill came out on top is this evening's friendly against a
Stafford Rangers XI, thanks to a hat-trick from striker Stefan Marshall. Boro, with Neil
Grayson the only first-team regular in action, scored just before the interval through
Ross Draper in the 40th minute. Marshall struck for the Swans in the 5th, 52nd and 73rd
minutes before a crowd of around 80.

This evening's trip to Stapenhill
Following Tuesday's 4-0 win at Meir KA, Stafford Rangers are
sending a team to Stapenhill this Thursday evening, 19th July, to face a side newly
promoted into the Midland Alliance. The home side are based near Burton-on-Trent. Take the
A444 from Burton towards Nuneaton over the River Trent and into Stapenhill. Turn right
into Sycamore Road and the ground is eventually on the left (Stapenhill

Tuesday evening, 17th July, when Midland Combination side Meir KA provide the opposition,
kick-off 7 pm. The Kings Park ground is located on the B5066 (Hilderstone Road) between
Hilderstone and Meir Heath, 100 yards on the left past the Black Inn public house if
travelling from Sandon.

Problem with Saturday's Nantwich friendly
This Saturday's friendly at Nantwich Town will NOT be played
at the Dabbers' new ground which is not yet ready for use. The game will not switched to
Marston Road either, so a new venue is being arranged, possibly Keele University. Again
more information when it is known.

10/7/07 Robinson pleased with workout
"It was a good first workout," was the verdict of
Rangers boss Phil Robinson, following the 1-0 victory at Rocester.
"It always seems to be tight when we come to Rocester for the first game. They always
give us a good workout which we are pleased about."
"It is nice to get a victory but that is certainly not important in pre-season. The
win probably wont be too important during this pre-season. We have got to start
looking at getting results at the beginning and early in the season."

that a football-related story in a national newspaper mentions Stafford Rangers and
Manchester United in the same breath. But in a Sun Money feature about sporting finance,

3/7/07: Pre-season friendly update
Stafford Rangers have arranged a further pre-season friendly.
They will visit neighbours Newcastle Town on Saturday 4th August, kick-off 3 pm.
Another pre-season friendly has also been announced. Stafford Rangers will additionally
visit Stapenhill FC on Thursday 19th July, kick-off 7-30 pm. The game at Nantwich
Town on Saturday 21st July will be played at their new stadium. Next Tuesday's
game at Rocester will kick off at 7.30 pm while the Meir KA game will start at 7 pm. There
is still no game arranged at the moment for Saturday 28th July.

Stafford
Rangers are pleased to announce the permanent signing of defender Richard Sutton. The 21
year old, just released by League One side Crewe Alexandra, is no stranger to the Boro. He
had been on loan for over a season since his debut in April 2006, making 48 appearances.

2/7/07: 2007/08 Fixtures out on Tuesday
Fixtures for the forthcoming 2007/08 Blue Square Premier season
will be released on Tuesday 3rd July at 10 am. We will find out who Rangers will face on
the opening day of Saturday 11th August, over Christmas and the Bank Holidays, and on the
final day, as well as all the other dates in between. This season, Stafford will make
their first-ever visits to newly-promoted duo Histon and Farsley Celtic as well as
relegated Torquay United. With Boston United dropping from League Two to Blue Square
North, old rivals Altrincham will again provide opposition after they were reprieved from
relegation.
